Before taking over leadership, Cynthia worked for 19 years as assistant to the school's previous director, Mary Jo Murray. During that time, she was involved with Mary Jo in every aspect of the dance school. Cynthia holds two Master's Degrees, one in Psychology and one in Education. She is proud to continue the philosphy that makes Dance Unlimited special. She is thrilled with the high calliber of teachers and with the great attitude and talent of the students we have here at Dance Unlimited.
Julie Webb, Ballet
Julie has been with Dance Unlimited since it began in 1981. She has studied with various instructors. She is thankful Olivia (her daughter) enjoys dance as mch as she does. Julie says, "Teaching children about the arts is so fulfilling, including stage experieince, and an introduction to all types of music and dance." Throughout the years she has seen children of all ages equally enchanted by their experieinces.
Brianna Gaietto, Jazz *Modern* Special Needs* Zumba
Bri has been a member of Dance Unlimited for 15 years. She has taught for 5, and has assisted in multiple classes including modern, hip-hop, and jazz for 8 years. She graduated from Columbian in 2011 and most recently Heidelberg University (2015), where she majored in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Art. She has been a member of both the Berg Dance Team and the cheerleading squad. She plans to further her education at the University of Toledo for a doctorate in Occupational Therapy, while continuing to instruct at Dance Unlimited.
Brooklyn Boehler has been an instructor in pre-ballet for 3 years. She started dancing at the age of six in ballet then later added modern and jazz. During her 13 years with Dance Unlimited, she assisted in ballet and taught ballet, modern and jazz during her senior year. She obtained her BBA in Managerial Studies from Tiffin University in 2013 and obtained her MBA in Human Resources from Tiffin University in 2015. She is also a Registration and Records Coordinator at Tiffin University.
Kathy Miller, an alumna of Heidelberg University, is the instructor for the upper level ballet classes at Dance Unlimited. Additionally, Miller is the Instructor of Movement at Heidelberg and a Co-Founder of trideaDANCE, the Tiffin Ritz Theatre’s resident dance collaborative. Through trideaDANCE, Miller works with professional dancers from throughout Ohio to produce concerts and local young dancers who are featured in her new works. Miller’s choreography has been presented in Cleveland for CSU Modern Dance Company Concerts, The CM² Columbus Moves Showcase, and the Ohio Dance Festival Gala Concert 2011.
In her ballet classes at Dance Unlimited, Miller challenges her students to see their dancing as a lens through which they can examine life outside the classroom. Tenacity, strength of will, poise, confidence, and focus are all important dance lessons that can be applied to other areas of life. While exercising our bodies, we also exercise our minds.
Kathy Miller began her career at Dance Unlimited as a student and is happy to have returned in the teaching role to inspire a new generation to pursue their love of dance.
Rachel Hummel-Sass (Ballet and Modern) – Rachel returned to teaching at Dance Unlimited in 2014. She founded the modern program at Dance Unlimited in 2002. Rachel began dancing with Dance Unlimited when she was 4 years old and continued through the program in both Ballet and Jazz until she graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School. She then continued her dance training at Oberlin College where she received her degree in modern dance and choreography. Rachel also obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and works as a private practice psychologist, specializing in working with children, adolescents and families.
