CLASS FEES
This year we will again allow anyone who is new to Dance Unlimited to try out our classes by taking two free classes before they decide if they want to join the class. We are again offering a break in fees to anyone who pays for the whole year in September. We will take 5% off the total if you wish to participate in this. Let me know and I will figure out your year's class fees and reduce it by 5%. You would pay again in January for the costume (minus any credits you have for items sold or canceled classes.) If a few people pay this way it will help with beginning-of-the-year expenses such as music rights, advertising, and summer's studio rent.
The cost of classes is $12.00 per hour-long class and $9.00 per 45-minute class. A discount is offered for families taking more than one class. Each additional class taken by a student or a sibling will-reduce the fee by $ 1.00 per class. So the first class per FAMILY will be $12.00 (9.00 per 45-minute class), the second $11.00 (or 8.00 for 45 minutes), the third $10.00 (or 7.00) and so on. Families with children taking several classes will benefit quite a lot from this price structure.
The registration fee will remain at $25.00 per child (not per class), to be paid with September fees along with $12.00 for a t-shirt unless you have one from last year. I will collect monthly class fees the first week of each month. We accept cash, checks, and PayPal. On days that I am not at the studio, fees may be put into the lock box. If you do not pay in person or in the lock box, you must mail in your fees by the 25th of that month. Fees should be mailed to Dance Unlimited, 22 St Francis Ave, Tiffin, Ohio 44883. If there are any financial problems or need for partial scholarships, please call me. Classes that meet twice a week will have a monthly fee, described in the Ballet section. You can pick up payment envelopes in the dance studio if you wish.

FitTING DAY - Saturday, august 26
Come to the dance studio to try on and to order shoes, tights, and other dance needs. Come between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Items ordered will be delivered at the first dance class (except in rare cases when an item is on back order). We do not have leotards available, but shoes and tights can be ordered from us.
The following are requirements for each class. Prices listed are the price of the item at Dance Unlimited.
Ballet 1 & 2:
Pink ballet shoes, pink tights, pink leotard. Optional: separate skirt or pink leotard with attached skirt.
Shoes: Bloch s0205 in color pink $24.00 (you may also use Capezio 2M-205 in pink.)
Skirts: assorted in pink
Any pink tights: $5.00
Ballet 3 & 4:
Same as above, except they may wear any color leotard.
Ballet twice a week:
Pink, split-sole ballet shoes with elastic on ballet and pointe shoes. If you are new to the twice a week classes, you may wear your ballet shoes from last year until you need new ones and then buy the split sole shoes. Leotards are required and may be any color. Skirts or dance shorts are allowed but not required.
Shoes: Bloch S0208 in pink $38.00
Capezio transition tights in ballet pink: Style # 14 or 1816 or 1916- Child $15.50, Adult $17.50
(Cynthia always has available elastic: $2.00; and ribbons: $4.00)
All Jazz classes:
Black jazz shoes; a leotard or a unitard any color; footless dance tights; and may choose dance shorts, if desired.
Shoes: $34.00
Footless tights: Capezio 140 or 1917 or transition tights Capezio 1816 or 1916 - Child $15.50, Adult $17.50
Ballet/Jazz:
If your child is taking both ballet and jazz, you should buy transitional tights so they have one pair for both classes.
Tap:
Tap shoes with jazz style tie top. They are $29.00 from me. Students must wear leotard, tights, and can have dance shorts.
Modern:
Leotard, footless or transition tights, no shoes should be worn.
Hip-hop:
Leotard, footless tights, and black jazz shoes. Dance shorts are optional. Check for our used jazz shoes, if you wish.
We have used jazz shoes for $10.00 and used ballet shoes for $5.00.
On August 27, bring any good, used shoes you wish to sell. Please put name on adhesive tape, and attach to item. You will get a credit for any items that sell some reduced priced new items will also be available.

Many of you are familiar with discount dance supply. You can now order from them and give points for credits to dance unlimited studio. I will use these to keep lower the cost of our supplies.

I would suggest buying shoes from us so you can try them on.
We will also offer a link to Curtain Call for Class. Refer to the Dance Supplies section above and click the link. That will bring you to their website where you will log in with our studio, Dance Unlimited Tiffin, Ohio. For the password phrase, type in unlimited2 . You will then be in their web site and can place your order.
Dance unlimited will also get reward points for orders placed and this will translate to lower prices on items we offer.
T-shirts
The last couple years we adopted a Dance Unlimited t-shirt to use for parades and smaller performances during the year. We would like everyone to have one of these blue t-shirts. Many of you already have one from last year. If you still need one they will be $12.00 and payment should be included in September's class fees. You may also order other items posted in our studio. Your order must be in by October 1.
CALENDAR
Please see the Calendar page for the class schedule. In case of bad weather, we seldom close, but we will use Remind.com to let you know if classes are canceled that day. You can also check our Facebook page or the web site to see if class is canceled.
Guidelines
Students are expected to let the teacher know when they are not going to be in class. Choreographing dances is very difficult when students are not in attendance, and it is also not fair to the other students.
Students are expected to be respectful of their instructors and other students.
All students are required to be at rehearsal the week of the recital, unless they have a written note and it must be given to Cynthia, not your teacher.
Parents, please be respectful of the teachers if they feel your child is not ready to move to a more advanced class.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance is very important in the dance classes. Please let the teacher know if you have to miss a class. It is hard to catch up when too many classes are missed.
